Every now and then, I get a little burst of inspiration to write. What began years ago as my dad and me hammering out rough drafts (and I mean rough drafts!) for our proofreaders to make beautiful has grown into a collection of resources written, edited, and published through Calvary Baptist Publications.
Most of these projects started as sermons, study series, or discipleship lessons prepared for our church family here at Calvary Baptist Church in Temecula, California. With Sunday always coming, ministry is a content-producing machine, and we’ve worked to capture some of that content in formats that can last beyond Sunday. Our church tagline is “We bring the Bible home,” and I want to do that both figuratively through applicable preaching and literally through printed materials.
We don’t write to sell books (although the dozens of cents I’ve made are great!), but to capture and clarify thoughts worth keeping. If it’s a help to you, I’m glad. That’s my prayer.
